Dr. Taronté Venable is new to practicing in Bellows Falls, VT but prior to his career as a chiropractic neurologist he spent his life singing in various choirs, including the Stonewall Chorale in NYC. Since moving upstate he’s attended various open mics and sang back up for local talent Shannon Roy in several concerts, helping to debut her first original album. Since finding his passion for singing at a young age, Taronté has dreamed of performing as a solo artist and created Dr. Venable’s 20 Fun Facts Cabaret to share his love of music and pivotal moments in his life growing up as a queer African American. This 2-hour show is packed with acoustic pop hits, ballads, a few band numbers and even one of the original songs from an album written, performed and sung by Taronté himself.
