Dr. Taronté Venable is a board certified-chiropractic neurologist practicing in Bellows Falls, VT but prior to this career he spent his life singing in various choirs, including the Stonewall Chorale in NYC. Since moving upstate he’s attended various open mics and sang back up for local talent Shannon Roy in several concerts, helping to debut her first original album. Since discovering his passion for singing at a young age, Taronté has dreamed of performing as a solo artist. Dr. Venable’s 20 Fun Facts Cabaret is the first of a potential series of Fun Facts shows written by Taronté. In this rendition, Taronté shares his love of music and various pivotable moments in his life growing up as a queer African American.
This show is packed with acoustic pop hits, ballads, a few band numbers and one of Taronté’s original songs. Come expand your perspective and be moved by his wide vocal range across various styles of music as he shares his life’s journey for the first time on stage. This cabaret show is an intimate show with a display of talent that you won’t want to miss.
This is an 18+ show. $5 tickets + a $2 processing fee. No refunds.
